Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Receptionist has a critical customer service role at TZV and is responsible for providing the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries at our SECC locations.
They are responsible for handling incoming and outgoing people, mail, goods and services across TZV and ensures all reception responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or over the telephone, responding to or directing inquiries appropriately, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service at all time
- Manage the arrival and departure process for visitors by ensuring compliance with all sign-in and sign-out security procedures, including the issuance of visitor passes
- Provide the reconciliation reports in conjunction with invoices to enable payment of services such as Australia Post. Assist Property Services Lead in the provision of monthly reports
- Provide accurate and timely administrative duties including managing petty cash and records for finance relating to cab charges, petty cash, couriers and myki cards
- Assists in purchasing of stationary, kitchen supplies and catering and other relevant administration/support office requirements
About You
You will have experience in reception / administration position in a medium to large office environment, and have outstanding customer service acumen with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and an ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and have a keen eye for detail
- Intermediate MS Office skills in particular Outlook, Excel and Word
