About the Role
Reporting into the Senior Manager of Capability & Training, the Training Mapping & Development Lead is a key contributor to the capability uplift required in supporting readiness of the workforce for Next Gen CAD.
The Training Mapping & Development role is accountable for providing visibility of all training content relating to the use of the CAD system across TZV though training mapping. The Training Mapping & Development Lead plays a critical role in the delivery of an uplifted training program by creating the foundation for a training gap analysis that optimises and streamlines the update of content.
The purpose of the role is to develop a training content map that provides visibility of the thread of CAD related content across all learning programs, including nationally accredited programs delivered through TZVs enterprise RTO. The Training Mapping and Development Lead will create the single-source content map linking learning outcomes with TZVs Doctrine, RTO requirements, policies and procedures with the touchpoints across all learning programs, artefacts, tools and learning aids, and connecting these to the enterprise Doctrine, informing curriculum updates and high-quality learning programs to support the transition to Next Gen CAD and the future of learning at TZV.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Review of all training programs across TZV, identifying learning modules, technical components, assessment tools and delivery methodologies.
- Systematic mapping of the training content to the relevant elements of the organisational doctrine hierarchy, including policies, procedures, guidelines, and operational protocols.
- Validation of the accuracy of training mapping through liaising with internal stakeholders to capture insights and assess change impacts and inform content updates.
- Identification of opportunities to uplift, streamline, optimise and innovate training delivery
- Contribute to the design and development of learning programs and tools to support the transition of Next Gen CAD in to TZV’s current operational environment.
- Collaboration with operational training teams to uplift capability and ensure understanding of new learning programs to support sustainable delivery and high-quality learning outcomes.
About You
The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role -
- Certificate IV qualification in Training and Assessment or related discipline and/or several years’ experience in learning design.
- Extensive experience in mapping learning content to relevant legislation, acts, and organisational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability and understand in nationally accredited training packages, and experience in identifying and addressing gaps in learning programs and content.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking ability with the capacity to interpret complex training documentation and logically link it to policy frameworks.
- Experience in the development of multi-modal learning programs, including the development of supporting collateral.
- Strong interpersonal skills and engaging facilitation style, together with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
