About the Role

 

The Technology Resilience Lead is a key and active participant of the Emergency Communication Information Services (ECIS) Department.

 

The Technology Resilience team sits within the Planning and Consequence Management Directorate, which is responsible for Enterprise Architecture, Business Enablement, Test & Release, Security Governance and Technology Resilience.

The Technology Resilience Lead is responsible for technology risk, resilience, and reporting.

 

As part of the ECIS team you may be required to travel or transfer between your primary work location and other TZV sites to effectively perform your duties. Normal working hours are 38 hours per week between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday. You may be required to participate in an on-call roster and may be required to work reasonable overtime.

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

 

  • Contribute to development of TZV Cyber and Information Security Strategy (and Road Map) to augment the ICT Strategy.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to security framework, programs and projects and lead the implementation into TZV corporate and operations.
  • Coordinate and assess cyber and information security risks including organisational assessment such as Essential 8 and other controls and develop and implement measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations to monitor and manage the reporting of suspected and actual security incidents, cyber and information security risks, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence, ensuring sensitive and classified public sector information is protected from unauthorised disclosure or compromise.
  • Contribute to the development of BCP and DR plans including participation in mock exercises led by TZV operations’ team.

 

 

About You

 

The Technology Resilience Lead is highly experienced in technology risk management and would ideally hold a qualification in Information Communication Technology or a related field.

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • 5+ years technology risk management experience.
  • Strong complex stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with security operations including information and event management, threat detection, incident response.
  • Strong experience with risk management and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
