About Triple Zero Victoria

 

Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

The Senior Program Manager is a key and active participant of the Emergency Communications Information Services (ECIS) team.  The goal of the function is to provide program delivery in accordance with the agreed scope, budget, timeframe, and quality and within TZV’s Project Management FrameworkThe main purpose of the role is to deliver ECIS program of work as per the TZV Technology Roadmap.

 

The position may also be required to undertake the role of Project Manager for nominated ECIS projects.

 

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop, maintain, and review all key program and project artefacts in line with TZV’s PM Framework, including plans, schedules, budgets, risk/issue/change registers, reporting, and BAU transition documentation
  • Monitor and report on program performance across cost, delivery, risks, and issues, ensuring timely and transparent communication to stakeholders
  • Manage interdependencies across projects, ensuring alignment of resources, suppliers, technology, and schedules to support effective delivery
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and influence both internal and external parties to achieve optimal program outcomes, including securing required resources and SME support
  • Coordinate release and delivery activities in collaboration with the Release Manager, including build, testing, and deployment scheduling
  • Oversee governance processes, including review and approval of Change Advisory Board (CAB) submissions, and ensure effective transition to BAU with strong knowledge transfer to the business

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

 

  •  A Tertiary qualification in Business Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, or related discipline and/or substantial experience in program management
  •  Extensive program and project management experience delivering large-scale, strategic and high-profile initiatives
  •  Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, demonstrating strong people leadership capability
  •  Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate, negotiate, influence, and build effective relationships across diverse groups
  •  Demonstrated experience implementing and transitioning large, mission-critical systems, supported by strong commercial acumen
  •  Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to produce quality project reporting and facilitate discussions with varied stakeholders
