About Triple Zero Victoria
Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Governance, Strategy & Intelligence Department is responsible for delivering the corporate strategy, policy, and planning functions across the organisation. Working collaboratively with TZV’s executive, operational and support areas and key sector-wide, government and ministerial stakeholders, the department enables TZV to deliver its strategic, operational legal and ministerial objectives effectively and efficiently. It does so through good governance and planning, responding strategically to changing demands and environments, effectively leveraging data and intelligence to inform operational response, championing a risk-based culture, ensuring compliance with systems and practices, and driving reform.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Provide high quality authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and recommendations and innovative solutions on key activities and programs of work to senior management, TZV executive and government consistent with organisational objectives and values
- Support delivery of programs of work including the development of policy, project management and governance materials and prepare and present detailed reports and briefs
- Assist in proactively building and maintaining effective working relationships and facilitate the flow of information across the organisation and with key internal and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate outcomes including assisting with the delivery of engagement activities
- Maintain an understanding of state legislative and policy reform directions to influence policy development
- Support the organisation’s commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-led decision making
- Support the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), contribute to strategic decision making (including the preparation of high-level briefs for decision by the Board and other executives), and participate in other committees and corporate initiatives as required.
About You
As an ideal candidate for this role, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated ability to influence and operate comfortably and contribute at senior levels of an organisation
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment, with tight timeframes and deliver a number of projects simultaneously
- Skilled at collaboration with respectful negotiation, empathy and delivering outcomes
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate and detailed documents, reports and correspondence for executives
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders including government stakeholders (with an excellent understanding of the governmental and political system within which TZV operates).
