Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Senior Manager, Technology Integration is a key leader across the Transformation Program and broader TZV enterprise, reporting to the Director, Technical Delivery, as the principal of technology integration.
The goal of the function is to deliver the TZV transformation program integration outcomes in accordance with the agreed scope, budget, timeframe and quality. One of the primary functions of the role will be to manage a number of internal and external stakeholders in the development of API integrations.
The incumbent should be an experienced leader, with integration platform and API delivery experience. The role is to lead multi-disciplinary technical design and delivery teams, including vendor across integration and solution. The role will be expected to leverage TZV’s Project Management Framework to achieve project and program objectives.
The main purpose of the role is to deliver the TZV transformation program integration projects as per the Next Generation Call Taking and Dispatch (CAD) Project scope, ICT Strategy and funded Technology Roadmap. This includes a key strategic role to the Transformation Program and roader TZV executive.
Day to day responsibilities include:

Provide expert, strategic integration advice and guidance to executive partners across the Transformation Program, TZV, the emergency service sector and broader Government on technology integration associated with emergency telecommunications

Lead multi-disciplinary teams comprising subject matter experts from multiple technology domains, with a clear focus on positive staff wellbeing, continued skill development, and shared organisational learning

Head the development of the Integration platform to deliver both the data integrations to the Emergency Services Organisations (ESO’s) and the data integrations between the existing CAD software and the Next Generation CAD software

Work closely with senior leaders across TZV and the emergency sector to plan, prioritise and deploy capability and capacity in support of branch, business and whole-of-government data priorities

Provide guidance and input to the broader solution architecture as it relates to data integration

Collaborate with design, development, testing, and operations teams across the sector to achieve the successful delivery of a suite of APIs
About You
You will have experience in the implementation and transition management of large mission critical data and integration improvement outcomes within a government organisation, with strong stakeholder engagement skills and proven ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence others to achieve outcomes.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
- Strong people leadership skills, demonstrable current experience in leading a high performing team
- Experience in managing disparate stakeholders with competing views and technical requirements
- Experience in managing external delivery vendors and maintaining their quality and technical focus

Proven understanding of the MuleSoft platform and integration services including streaming / real-time data services such as Kafka

Strong knowledge of data formats, protocols and standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, GeoJSON, XML)

Understanding of the end-to-end design and delivery of APIs from requirements gathering, SAD/HLD/DLD’s, sequence diagrams, and engaging with the test and release team to production

Understanding of DevOps principles and ways of working

A Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline and/or substantial experience in data integration development
