Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Senior Learning Experience Designer reports directly to the Senior Manager, Capability & Training within the Operational Transformation Team as part the Next Gen CAD Project. The Senior Learning Experience Designer plays a leading role in the design and development of learning solutions for the roll out of the Next Gen CAD solution across all impacted roles across TZV.
The role is responsible for the design and development of targeted and innovative learner journeys across the diverse range of CAD users and other roles impacted by Next Gen CAD. Working in conjunction with the broader Operational Transformation Team and TZV Enterprise, the Senior Learning Experience Designer will co-design and develop learning solutions that maximise user adoption and capability uplift, whilst optimising the learning outcomes through a variety of delivery methods.
The Senior Learning Experience Designer will not only develop multi-modal innovative learner journeys to ensure the successful transition and embedment of Next Gen CAD into BAU operations but will also develop solutions that uplift the capability of learning across TZV and embed a culture of learning and sustainable solutions into the future.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Engaging key stakeholders across TZV to identify and articulate the aspirational learning culture and desired future state of learning.
- Leading the development of the training needs analysis and identification of capability gaps that will inform the design of the learning programs and supporting tools to uplift capability of end users in the use of the Next Gen CAD solution.
- Leading the development of end-to-end learner journeys for all required roles, that articulates a multi-model approach to optimise training delivery and enhance the learner experience.
- Collaborating with the wider Learning and Development Team to design, develop and delivery a variety of learning experiences including videos, podcasts, eLearning modules, job-aids and instructor led training.
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to source feedback on learning activities to ensure fit-for-purpose, effectiveness, inclusiveness and relevance. Influencing senior management and various stakeholders to promote a best practice learning journey.
About You
The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience -
- A tertiary qualification in learning design, instructional design or related discipline and/or 5 years’ experience in instructional design, development, and delivery.
- Extensive experience in contemporary learning design and development of multi-modal training solutions.
- Demonstrated experience using instructional design principles to create high quality learning and development programs (including digital, self-exploration, and facilitated programs).
- Demonstrated ability and understanding in nationally accredited training frameworks, training packages, learning outcomes and performance criteria.
- Experience in designing and developing eLearning courses and digital learning content.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
