Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

 

As a key member of the Governance Policy & Intelligence Department, the Senior Communication and Digital Engagement Officer delivers stakeholder and partnership strategies that align with TZV’s objectives and values.

 

Sitting within the Communication and Partnerships team, the role has a key focus on improving TZV’s services through strategic communication. The Senior Communication and Digital Engagement Officer will contribute by identifying creative engagement methods and continuously improving how we use our digital channels.

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Manage community and stakeholder communication channels, providing regular performance reports on engagement  
  • Deliver a digital communications function by creating multimedia content, analysing user needs, and helping departments transition from manual to digital workflows
  • Coordinate and review all internal and external content to ensure digital assets and campaigns align with TZV’s strategic goals
  • Maintain communication standards and oversight by utilising a diverse range of digital platforms and systems
  • Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on community partnerships, workforce engagement, and effective communication tactics.

 

 

About You

 

A candidate with a tertiary qualification or relevant communications experience as well as strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively.

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  •   Demonstrated experience in the planning and delivery of internal communications services in a professional or service based organisation
  •   Experience in community and stakeholder engagement, preferably with government, statutory or emergency organisations
  •   Excellent verbal and written communication skills, supported by demonstrable facilitation and liaison skills
  •   Demonstrable skills in the design and development of multi media communications artefacts, products, campaigns and content across a range of communication channels and platforms
  •   Strong digital skills and experience in creative design platforms and technologies (e.g. Canva and Adobe Creative Suite).
