Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The main purpose of the role is to develop, plan, facilitate and build a resilient business environment and the associated operating model at TZV. This will require leading the process of building robust business continuity and resilience management and linking these to disaster recovery systems; developing and maintaining the crisis management and business continuity frameworks; and leading the continuous improvement of related TZV processes through process improvement initiatives.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Ensure critical business functions have effective business continuity, redundancy, and disaster recovery systems aligned with TZV’s operational needs
- Develop and implement a best-practice Business Continuity & Resilience system, ensuring requirements and standards are clearly documented and communicated
- Develop and manage a tailored Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical TZV functions and their supporting systems
- In partnership with procurement and business contract owners, identify critical Third-Party suppliers, and review their BC plans for adequacy and currency. Where appropriate, ensure updates are made to business contracts as required
- Deliver insights, advice and updates on TZV Business and Continuity and Resilience to the Executive Leadership Team, Board and Audit and Risk Management Compliance Committee
- Work with management and key stakeholders to regularly test continuity and redundancy systems for critical processes
About You
The successful candidate will have a diploma or tertiary qualification in Business Continuity ( or related field and experience in Business Continuity, Risk Management or Disaster Recovery and have the following expereince, skills and attributes:
- Extensive experience in business continuity and risk management including emergency planning, disaster recovery, emergency / crisis response management
- Demonstrated ability and understanding in business continuity, risk management and compliance management
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong report writing and presentation skills for both internal and external use
- Ability to meet timelines and drive action through to resolution
