Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Senior Advisor, Workforce Engagement is a key and active participant of the People & Culture team.
The Senior Advisor, Workforce Engagement plays a key role in enhancing workforce connection, engagement, and recognition across the organisation. The position is responsible for designing and delivering workforce-wide communications, coordinating staff engagement initiatives and events, and supporting campaigns that attract, retain and recognise our people.
This role partners closely with leaders and business areas to strengthen organisational culture, employee experience, and workforce communication aligned with organisational values and strategic priorities.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate workforce engagement activities, events, and wellbeing initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and organisational culture.
- Design and implement organisation-wide communication plans and materials that promote key initiatives, values, and the desired culture, ensuring timely delivery and positive stakeholder feedback.
- Support recruitment and employer-branding campaigns in partnership with Workforce Operations to enhance the organisation’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- Coordinate, administer, and continuously improve employee recognition and reward programs, including delivering the annual engagement/recognition calendar and reporting to drive enhancements.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand engagement needs, provide informed advice, and lift participation and satisfaction through targeted strategies.
- Assess and analyse the effectiveness of engagement and communication initiatives, providing evidence-based recommendations that contribute to improved engagement metrics and cultural outcomes.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualification in communications, human resources, public relations or a related field, with a minimum of four years’ post-graduation experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering workforce engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications in a complex or public-sector environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.
- Proven project management capability, including managing multiple priorities, coordinating logistics, and meeting deadlines.
- Experience administering and improving recognition and reward programs or related HR initiatives.
- Ability to build collaborative, influential relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of workforce engagement principles and an understanding of how communication and recognition support culture and employee experience.
