Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Receptionist is a key and active participant of the ECS - Emergency Communications Services department.
The Receptionist has a critical customer service role at TZV and is responsible for providing the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries at our SECC locations. The Receptionist is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing people, mail, goods and services across TZV and ensures all reception responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Creating a friendly, welcoming, and positive experience for all visitors to Triple Zero Victoria, whilst maintaining security access procedures.
- Providing high level customer service to all stakeholders, both in person and over the phone.
- Undertaking both reception and administrative tasks as required, with high attention to detail and efficiency.
- Working individually, and as part of a team to ensure the reception area runs professionally, and all stakeholder and visitor needs are met.
- Manage TZV’s reception and internet enquiries mailbox, providing accurate and timely responses.
About You
The preferred candidate will be a positive, proactive, and supportive team player, with the following experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a reception/administration position and experience in a similar medium to large office environment.
- Outstanding customer service acumen to internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and an ability to multi-task
- Intermediate MS Office skills in particular with Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and have a keen eye for detail.
