Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

 

The Project Officer is a key and active participant of the Digital Transformation Program, specifically the Next Generation Computer Aided Dispatch (Next Gen CAD). 

 

The main purpose of the role is to support project management with project planning, project delivery in accordance with the agreed scope, budget, timeframe and quality and project closure. To achieve these deliverables, the Project Officer will follow Triple Zero Victoria’s (TZV) Project Management Framework.

 

The role may include coordination services across the projects to support successful program delivery in line with Triple Zero Victoria’s (TZV) commitment to Government. 

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

 

  • Preparation and maintenance of key project artefacts in accordance with the TZV Project Management Framework, including the development of detailed Project Management Plans, project controls, schedule, budget, monthly status reports and milestone reports

  • Organise project related meetings and workshops, including preparation of agenda, meeting materials and minutes

  • Support the Senior Manager, and other project partners, including the PMO leads, and analysts from the projects Strategic Deliver Partner (SDP). 

  • Coordinate internal resources (e.g IT, procurement, legal) to external resources (e.g vendor, consultants) to work collaboratively across the organisation to delivery specific work packages to meet overall project or program objectives

 

 

 

About You

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prepare accurate, high-quality documentation, reports, and correspondence

  • Solid understanding of the project life cycle and project management methodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and work with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, supported by a Diploma or tertiary qualification in Project Management (or equivalent).
