About Triple Zero Victoria


Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role 

 

The Project Officer is a key and active participant of the Stakeholder Engagement Stream in the Next Generation CAD Project Team. 

 

The main purpose of the role is to support the Stakeholder Engagement project stream with planning, project delivery in accordance with the agreed scope, communication development support, and engagement initiatives. To achieve these deliverables, the Project Officer will follow Triple Zero Victoria’s Project Management Framework.

 

The role includes coordination services across the projects to support successful program delivery in line with Triple Zero Victoria’s commitment to Government. 

 

 

About You

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Diploma/Tertiary qualification in Project Management and/or Project Management Qualification (PRINCE2 or equivalent) or currently completing.


Essential Skills and Experience                                                                   

  • Proven experience in contributing to the delivery of complex projects

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate and detailed documents, reports and correspondence

  • Proven understanding of the project life cycle and project methodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • The successful applicant must satisfy the National Police Records Check standard that includes fingerprinting


Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Intermediate Microsoft Officer Suite skills

  • Expert knowledge using Success Factors

  • Experience working with the public sector

  • Accreditation in Mercer Job Evaluation methodology

  • Experience working within the public sector

  • Customer focused and exceptionally skilled at developing and maintaining positive relationships

  • Detail-oriented, process minded and copes well managing high volumes of work

  • A continuous improvement mindset, seeking to improve both self and work processes based on ongoing changing client needs
