Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

 

This position will lead a team of Workforce Analysts who are responsible for ensuring operations can reach daily optimal performance for all services. The main purpose of the role is to lead and control the end-to-end workforce management processes.

 

The main purpose of the role is to lead and control the end to end workforce management processes associated with workforce planning, ensuring that TZV achieves optimum utilization of it’s operational staff across all centres.
 

  • Manage, monitor and oversee the end-to-end leave management process to ensure that the business rules and deliverables are achieved

  •  Recruit, train and maintain operational and support office employees for entry into talent pool programs within the resources and logistics team

  • Lead and develop a team of workforce analysts to ensure they are achieving key service delivery targets 

  • Monitor, evaluate and report on service level target performance and gaps for all services

  • Liase with stakeholders to ensure service delivery targets are met 

 

 

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience working within complex emergency environments and understanding of high volume, fast paced communication centres and have the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Ability to manage resources to meet fluctuating workloads and conditions whilst considering the financial implications of decisions made

  • Strong people leadership skills and have experience in workforce planning

  • Ability to accept and drive change

  • Ability to interpret and apply enterprise bargaining agreement.

  • Diploma/ Tertiary qualification in a Business Management. Communications, or related discipline
