Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Manager, Property Services is a specialised role that requires a deep technical knowledge of critical multi-faceted environments and multiple aspects of facility management. This role manages and coordinates all facilities works and visitor access controls across TZV’s three SECCs - Burwood East, Williams Landing and Ballarat as well as the corporate office located in Burwood East.
The Manager, Property Services is responsible for management of vendor contracts and facility works ensuring quality completion in accordance with TZV work standards, governance processes and statutory requirements. Leading a dedicated and skilled team to ensure critical equipment is well-maintained, quality audits regularly conducted and KPI’s are met.
The Manager, Property Services is also responsible for developing facility business cases and Executive briefs, contract tenders and negotiations and plays a lead role in the asset management cycle.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Provide advice on TZV’s portfolio of estate assets and subject matter expertise and support to Senior Managers and Executive Leadership Team.
- Effectively lead a multi-disciplined property services team and manage the coordination, oversight and monitoring of facilities management, and facilities capital programs to support the organisation to effectively deliver on its strategic objectives.
- Responsible and accountable for management of critical incidents to resolution, whilst ensuring business operations can continue to operate with minimal impact. Continuously improve the facilities capability in incident management, issue and risk management. Lead and be accountable for the Facilities Duty Manager on call program to ensure 24-hour coverage for management of critical incidents 24/7.
- Accountable for professional contract management of all facility related contract, including regular stakeholder and vendor meetings, SLA & KPI management and reporting, performance management and expenditure against contract.
- Accountable for managing facilities Operational and Capital budgets, ensuring expenditure is within delegations and contract values and reconciled against forecasts.
About You
- Proven breadth of knowledge and experience in project management, maintenance management, facilities management or business management.
- Experience in a senior line management position within a complex, multi-faceted work environment.
- Qualifications/knowledge or experience in building trades/building maintenance
- Exceptional people management skills, commercial awareness, financial astuteness and customer service skills.
- Experience working within the emergency services sector or other critical services.
