About Triple Zero Victoria
Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Manager, Business Intelligence is a key and active participant of the Governance, Strategy and Intelligence Department. The Manager, Business Intelligence is responsible for coordinating, supporting and providing advice to a team of Intelligence Specialists who proactively collect and analyse and interpret information from a range of sources to provide actionable insights that drive business performance. They manage the day-to-day activities of the team to develop and implement data-driven strategies to support business decision-making.
The Manager, Business Intelligence liaises with internal and external stakeholders to encourage the effective provision of intelligence and maintains a high degree of integrity when managing and collecting information.
About You
The preferred candidate will have a proven ability to lead and manage a team of high performing subject matter and technical experts, as well as demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and high order interpersonal skills.
Additionally, the preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience -
- Teriary qualification in Business, Computer Science IT, statistics, or related discipline.
- Senior level experience as an intelligence manager or specialist substantial experience in statistical reporting and analysis and business intelligence roles.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data and information.
- Expertise in analysis, modelling and business intelligence.
- Demonstrated capability in clearly writing large, complex reports and developing succinct intelligence briefings.
- Proven ability to analyse complex and large data sets in various formats both relational and non-relational formats
- Demonstrated ability and expertise in relevant statistical methods.
- Demonstrated data modelling capability.
- Able to lead a team of like SMEs to meet deadline and complex reporting tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to develop BI/AI applications using Power BI.
- Proven ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Able to convert and join complex data sets to form business insights and information in an easy-to-understand format for end users.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
