Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

 

The Learning Experience  Designer designs and delivers innovative, best practice learning solutions that guide learners to become highly skilled, flexible and engaged people, supporting ongoing professional development and career growth at TZV. 
Under the guidance of the Manager, Talent Development, the Learning Experience Designer is responsible for creating innovative learning and development solutions using best practice Learning & Development approaches. They will draw on their expertise in adult learning and instructional design to partner with Subject Matter Experts from across the business to develop fit for purpose learning solutions.

Day to day responsibilities include:

 

  • Provide expert learning design advice on delivery modalities, design processes and development approaches, informed by sound instructional design theory
  • Design, develop and create instructor-led, face-to-face and e-learning course content that builds key capabilities and meets the specific needs of the target learning audience
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, developing quality learning solutions to meet their business requirements and providing expert advice on learning design, programs and initiatives to support the growth of a high-performance culture
  • Contribute to the establishment of evaluation and regular reporting processes to track the delivery and identification and escalation of emerging or existing risks that may jeopardise the implementation of learning solutions or programs
  • Design, build and maintain learning assets for multiple methods of delivery (instructor-led, web based, etc.) including the development of storyboards; web-based content; interactive activities; capabilities for multimedia delivery; instructional graphics and diagrams

 

About You

 

The successful candidate will have a qualification in Learning Design, Education or relevant discipline and have demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning theories.

 

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

 

  • Proven design experience in a learning and development context, gained within a best practice customer service organisation or contact centre operation
  • Experience in defining learning objectives, measures of students learning and learning material design specifications
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, priorities, meet multiple deadlines and problem solve with a strong customer focus
  • High attention to detail with concern for standards and quality
