Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

 

The Senior Manager, Technology Resilience, a key role within the wider Planning and Consequence Management Directorate, is accountable for technology risk, resilience and Security Governance across the organisation. 

 

Reporting into the Director, Planning and Consequence Management, this role will foster and maintain a positive protective security culture at Triple Zero Victoria, enabling the organisation to achieve its strategy whilst protecting its information and services against cyber threats.

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Design and deliver Triple Zero Victoria’s Cyber and Information Security Strategy and Road Map.
  • Coordinate, identify, assess and evaluate cyber and information security risks, and develop and implement measures to mitigate any identified risks.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations to monitor and manage the reporting of suspected and actual security incidents and risks.
  • Lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team to provide services to meet and anticipate the expectations of the Victorian community in a complex environment.
  • Develop and deliver cyber and information security training and communications, and deliver operational and executive level reporting, advice and governance to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of ICT services at Triple Zero Victoria.

 

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive and relevant up-to-date ICT and risk management experience, as well as experience managing and engaging key stakeholders in a highly critical and complex work environment.  

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • A Tertiary qualification in Information Communication Technology or related discipline and/or substantial experience in technology risk and resilience roles.
  • A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex mission-critical 24/7, multiple stakeholder communications environment, and to manage competing priorities to align change objectives with varying stakeholder expectations.
  • A commercial acumen and extensive procurement and contract management experience.
  • Knowledge of Cyber and Security frameworks such as the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework, NIST, CIS, ASD and Mitre ATT&CK.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of proficiency in written and verbal communication, including brief writing, business cases and reporting.
