About Triple Zero Victoria

 

Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

 

Reporting to the Director, Technical Delivery, the Data Management Lead will deliver the TZV transformation program data projects as per the Next Generation CAD Project scope, ICT Strategy and funded Technology Roadmap in accordance with the agreed scope, budget, timeframe and quality. 

 

You will provide leadership and data program delivery expertise while leveraging TZV’s Project Management Framework to achieve project and program objectives. 

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensure the uplift of data management at TZV to provide the Next Generation Computer Aided Dispatch Program (NGC) and the Enterprise System Integration Program (ESIP) with the necessary data management and governance capabilities to deliver the broader program.
  • Contribute to the design, plan and establish the TZV Data Management initiatives, including Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Integration capabilities.  
  • Provide guidance and input to the update of the Data, Business, and Technology architecture as it relates to Data Management.
  • Development of the Data Business Glossary, Data Dictionary and Data Asset Register.
  • Development of the Data Catalogue including the Conceptual, Logical, Physical, and Data Models, and Data Catalogue Proof of Concept.
  • Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams comprising subject matter experts from multiple data and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) domains, with a clear focus on positive staff wellbeing, continued skill development, and shared organisational learning.  

 

This role is available on a 2 year fixed-term basis.

 

About You

 

The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience in managing data management initiatives in large scale strategic programs of work,  as well as the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Experience in large data migration programs of work, including Data Cleansing, Data Anonymisation, Data Archiving, and Data Decommissioning.
  • Ability to utilise strategic and operational approaches to Data Migration Plans and delivery activities.
  • Experience in the implementation and transition management of large mission critical data and information improvement outcomes within a government organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and proven ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence others to achieve outcomes.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with demonstrable experience in leading a high performing team.
  • Working knowledge of the Department of Treasury’s High Value High Risk framework.
