About the Role

 

The Cyber Security Solution Architect is a key subject matter expert and reports to the Cyber Security Lead, Next Generation CAD. 

 

The Cyber Security Solution Architect will use their expertise to support the Next Generation CAD program across design and implementation, with the goal to enhance TZV’s cyber security posture. The Cyber Security Solution Architect will understand complex IT systems and remain up to date with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.

 

The main purpose of the role is to support the development of the security architecture practices across hybrid cloud and on-premises for the TZV transformation program, to achieve a high level of security, compliance, and privacy. The scope will focus predominantly on the Next Generation CAD Program.

 

The Cyber Security Solution Architect will be required to work across multiple, complex projects/initiatives and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects and transformation/change initiatives comply with TZV policies, standards, and control frameworks.

 

With a creative and innovative approach, as well as a keen eye for detail, resiliency, availability, and sustainability with security architecture experience across cloud/on-premises environments, the Cyber Security Solution Architect will ensure that controls, integration standards and technology projects adheres to standards, frameworks, and industry-specific requirements.

 

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Cyber Security Lead in decision making with regards to security domain expertise
  • Development of cyber security solution options, considering business and stakeholder requirements
  • Development of security solutions to meet the requirements of the Next Gen CAD program.
  • Responsible for developing and progressing the review of SAD’s, HLD’s and DLD’s relating to cyber security requirements.
  • Participate in forums and decision-making process, including architecture and governance forums to address and escalating, if required, any concerns relating to cyber security
  • Creating high level detailed architecture documents and, specifications, for cloud infrastructure and on-prem services as they relate to cyber security
  • Reviewing cyber security design components as delivered by vendor solution proposals

 

 

About You

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Experience in cyber security, with a focus on Identity & Access Management (IDAM) and application integration architecture
  • Knowledge of security control development through designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect systems and data from threats
  • Diverse knowledge of security architectures, including a working knowledge of architectural frameworks such as SABSA and TOGAF
  • Experience in leading business requirements gathering, ability to translate those into system requirements and facilitate business process design
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and clearly present and communicate on technical subjects to various audiences
