About the Role

 

The Contract Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of facilities-related contracts, and for ensuring the relevant continuity of supply and services across the organisation. 

 

Reporting into the Manager, Facilities Planning & Management, the Contract Manager will work collaboratively with the Procurement Team on sourcing activities and will support efficient use of contracted arrangements and quality control of assets, equipment, goods and services provided under contracted arrangements TZV has access to. 

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Administer and manage contracts for facilities, maintenance, supplies and cleaning services to support the effective delivery of services to the community and TZV operations.
  • Monitor contractor performance against agreed KPIs, service levels and contract/compliance obligations; and maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, renewals, compliance documents and any other documentation as required.
  • Work with the procurement team to co-run sourcing and tendering activities as required, and provide day-to-day support to property leads at each site to ensure effective access to contracted services and problem resolution.
  • Support the management and lifecycle of UPS systems, backup power contracts and any related infrastructure to ensure operational continuity, and contribute to larger-scale projects as required.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and support the Manager, Facilities Planning & Management in contract planning, supplier performance reviews and reporting as required.

 

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will be energetic and solutions-focused with an eye for detail. You will be a team-player and have significant experience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders within a complex working environment.

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  •  A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management and administration, preferably in works, maintenance, equipment and related services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement and sourcing principles, supplier management, contract compliance requirements and contract lifecycle processes within a government or regulated environment.
  • A focus on operational delivery, with the ability to effectively support continuity of services across multiple sites with a focus on resilience and business continuity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to monitor performance, identify risks and/or server gaps, and recommend interventions to ensure effective contract outcomes.
  • Relevant knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable and basic financial controls as they relate to contract establishment and management.
