About Triple Zero Victoria

 

Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

 

The Business Analyst is a key and active participant of the Emergency Communication Information Services (ECIS).

 

Reporting into the Senior Business Analyst, the Business Analyst role is to provide key information, specifically in the areas of business impact assessment, current state mapping and requirements gathering.

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

  •  Document "as-is" and "to-be" processes for Business, ECIS, and ECS, ensuring all functional and technical requirements maintain full end-to-end traceability.
  •  Analyse business operations to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance the end-user customer experience.
  •  Deliver high-level and detailed impact assessments, including options analysis and effort estimation to support strategic decision-making.
  •  Provide expert analytical support to troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical and business challenges.
  • Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather insights, drive collaboration, and move project deliverables forward.

 

 

About You

 

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  •   Tertiary education in Business Administration or Computer Science or equivalent.
  •    ITIL / BABOK certification.
  •    Extensive/Demonstrable experience and application of business process improvement, business analysis, business requirements gathering, options analysis, data analysis and testing management including techniques, methodologies, tools and best practice.
  •    Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
  •    Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagements skills and ability to influence others to obtain support and work towards a common goal.
