Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

 

The Organisational Development Advisor plays a vital role within the People & Culture team. This position focuses on designing and delivering initiatives that enhance leadership capability, support talent identification and succession planning, and foster a positive organisational culture. Key responsibilities include implementing leadership development programs, managing succession planning processes, and conducting corporate training to strengthen workforce capabilities across the organisation. Candidates should have a strong understanding of contemporary learning and organisational development methodologies, with the ability to create innovative and practical solutions.

 

This role is a part of the Workforce Capability portfolio and contributes to equipping Triple Zero Victoria to achieve its strategic vision through workforce development. This portfolio is dedicated to creating strategic, effective, and sustainable people programs that enhance organisational and individual performance.

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

 

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of contemporary, fit-for-purpose talent development and leadership development initiatives through effective engagement and collaboration with senior leaders and other key stakeholders

  • Support the design, delivery, and evaluation of leadership development programs that drive measurable improvements in leadership capability and organisational culture

  • Facilitate talent management initiatives, including high-potential identification, succession planning, and the establishment of career pathways

  • Support the design and implementation of organisational development initiatives across the Workforce Capability team more broadly in areas such as culture and engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion.

  • Support the delivery of internal development programs, such as Manager Inductions and professional workshops as required, while tracking effectiveness for continuous improvement.

 

 

 

About You

 

The role requires demonstrated understanding of contemporary Organisational Development methodologies and practices, and the ability to apply this knowledge to deliver practical, innovative and fit-for-purpose solutions. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

 

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related discipline, along with demonstrated experience in an Organisational Development role

  • A postgraduate qualification in Organisational Psychology or Human Resource Management is highly desirable, along with registration with relevant professional bodies, such as AHRI

  • Experience across a wide range of Organisational Development initiatives, including program design, delivery, facilitation, and success measurement

  • Experience in leadership and talent management, with a flexible, innovative, and solutions-focused approach

  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organisational levels

  • Demonstrated end-to-end project management experience, excellent planning and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
