Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The main purpose of the role is to provide support for the Finance department in delivering TZV’s accounts
payable and accounts receivable responsibilities in a timely manner through the provision of excellent
customer service while complying with organisational policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and prompt responses to stakeholder queries
- Enter financial data into GP WorkPlace and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains systems accurately and on time
- Take responsibility for processing invoices efficiently and preparing monthly accrual journals that reflect incurred costs correctly
- Identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist management with guidance and support on matters relating to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
About You
It is desirable that you have experience in working within the public sector and demonstrate numerical competence, attention to detail and be able to effectively communicate.
The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable role in a medium to large and
complex organisation - Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with a wide range
of stakeholders - Ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines
- An aptitude for problem solving in the context of accounting and financial compliance
- Diploma/ Tertiary qualification in Accounting and/or Finance
